ASOS III weather station for Sale

The City of Searcy is accepting bids for an Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) weather station. The system is complete with precipitation accumulation sensor, visibility sensor, and wind speed/direction sensor. There is also a thunderstorm sensor included. The tower for the wind sensor is not available as it was reused on the current AWSS station. The components are packaged and stored ready for shipping. Interested persons may contact the Airport Manager, Donny Love, at 501-278-0566, for a list of components that were originally installed. Prospective bidders should mail or deliver their bid in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the words "Bid for ASOS Equipment" no later than 12:00 Noon on June 30, 2011 at the Airport Terminal, 2609 South Main, Searcy, AR 72143.

3. The last several documents are a parts list of what we received when the station was installed.
