Co-authors Patsy Pipkin of Searcy and Carolyn Boyles of North Little Rock will have their new pictorial history book SEARCY for sale February 1, 2012.

We are very appreciative of everyone who contributed photos and told us historical facts. The first book signing will be Feb. 4, at Stotts Drug Store from 10:00 until 2:00, and the following Saturday, Feb. 11, at Bible House Bookstore from 9:30 until 1:30. Others around town at later dates.

We are very pleased with the book, especially the quality of the work done by Arcadia Press. The book sells for $21.99 plus tax. We love it, and hope everybody will be pleased. We just wish it could have been larger, for the entire community offered us great photos.
